language skills یا مهارت های زبان متشکل از فاکتورهای اصلی یک زبان است که در این بخش به توضیح language skills خواهیک پرداخت.توجه داشته باشیم که language skills خود به 4 قسمت تقسیم میشود.
زبان به 4 مهارت کلی تقسیم میشود.

توالی یادگیری هریک از این فاکتور ها از دوران بچگی تا بزرگسالی به ترتیب عبارت اند از : شنیدار ، گفتار ، خواندن و نوشتار میباشد. همینطور دقت داشته باشیم که یادگیری هر یک از آنان نیازمند زمان متناسب با خود میباشد.
این مهارت ها(language skills) هریک به عناصری نیاز دارند همچون غذا به آب،نمک،روغن و… نیاز دارد.
پس همینطور این مهارت ها ملزوم به یک عناصری هستند.

و همینطور بعضی عناصر در همه ی مهارت ها نیاز است مثل grammar & vocabulary.
